What She Makes is an ongoing campaign for fair living wages for the women who make our clothes, primarily in Bangladesh and Vietnam. The campaign involved a multitude of creative assets:
research reports
activism engagement
guerrilla marketing
ethical t-shirts
posters
brochures
petitions
factsheets
video
social media.
The Campaigns team approached our team with an overarching strategy for the campaign. We then spent some time developing the creative execution.
The Campaign teams would regularly brief me with their needs and requirements for specific campaign moments, I then worked with the Creative team in determining how to meet their needs. This led to scheduling the work required by all members of the team; while working together with the Digital team to ensure their expertise informed the design work from an SEO and digital advertising point of view.
I would track the progress of the work against milestones and adjust as needed.
The campaign has so far achieved more than 140 000 supporters and has created huge behaviour shifts from clothing brands in relation to the wages they pay their workers in their factories in Asia.
