Voices is Oxfam’s print magazine for donors who are monthly givers. It is a way to showcase the impact and reach of their donations. The editor would seek idea submissions from different stakeholders while I worked with the Regular Giving team to set parameters for each issue (including timelines, budgets, distribution channels).
The editor and I would present an editorial plan to the main stakeholders outlining image and story angles. I would then set a production schedule for the design and editorial work for all the elements included in the pack — magazine, envelopes, response sheets, letters, etc. — and allocate each team member their tasks.
I would ensure a standard of quality in design, editorial and photography and proceed to print and distribution. I then distributed assets to the Digital team to publish as a digital magazine.
